Supervising Studios Production Manager

Job description

The Ringer seeks a Senior Production Manager to join its team. The ideal candidate will be driven, innovative, and enthusiastic about sports and pop culture. In this role, the production manager will work with studio teams and remote teams to coordinate all recordings and seasonal staffing. This role requires significant experience with production staffing and fluctuating production needs. Familiarity with The Ringer and Spotify’s podcast business is also important. What You'll Do: Production Logistics & Scheduling: Work with the studio scheduling leads to coordinate studio bookings Facility & Equipment Management: Work with our engineering team, who oversee maintenance of studio equipment, technology management, and ensure readiness for production. Managing the scheduling of planned upgrades and downtime to address technical issues. Manage studio backend support, including coordination with vendors, technology and production. Ensure smooth communication to all appropriate parties, and lead the implementation of upgrades as needed.
