Overview Boston Parks & Recreation’s youth recreation series and events improve quality of life and promote economic balance by providing convenient, free, high-quality instructional and team-building programs to underserved and economically disadvantaged communities. These programs serve a variety of demographics, including at-risk populations and children from families who cannot afford summer sports camps, leagues, or specialized sports programs. Through these initiatives, we bring safe and enriching activities to the parks in densely populated areas, offering vital resources to the community. Key Duties and Responsibilities: The Ideal Candidate for this Job - Help to manage day to day activities - Direct Supervision of program participants at the site - Assist with planning and scheduling the site programming - Maintain and inventory of equipment and materials - Help keep accurate records of attendance for program participants - Football Knowledge and Experience: A strong understanding of football fundamentals and previous experience in playing or coaching, preferably at the youth or recreational level.
