Senior Electrical Engineer

Sedgman is currently looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Vancouver, B.C. office. He/she will act as a technical leader, bridging complex engineering design with field execution. They are responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of HV, MV, and LV power systems, conducting power studies, ensuring code compliance and managing the project’s deliverables across all project phases (Pre-feasibility, Feasibility, Conceptual and Detailed design), automation and electrical infrastructure for surface or underground operations. The ideal incumbent will ensure safety compliance and will be a mentor and coach to a young and enthusiastic team. Sedgman is a consulting engineering company in the mining space and is currently experiencing a rapid expansion of their North American offices; they are positioned for growth, and this role is business critical within the organization.
