Job DetailsJob Location: Pelham Shop North - Pelham, AL 35124Position Type: Full TimeTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayGeneral Laborer POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for conducting basic labor work and has limited experience in the Industrial Construction Industry. This position is also responsible for having dependable transportation and basic work specific tools. ATTRIBUTES: - Work standing for 12 hours a day in intense environments of heat or cold - Able to operate basic construction tools safely (Grinders, Cutting Saws, Torches, basic mechanical tools) - Able to read a tape measure accurately - Can identify basic construction building tools - Possess strong work ethic, listening skills and able to follow instructions - Able to physically lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the course of a shift - Has an OSHA 10-hour card or certificate in Construction - All other duties as assigned - Problem Solving – Ability to read blueprints - Must be capable of working any shift, overtime, be on-call, or work seven days a week, if needed. - Must be able to multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency to meet the customer needs. - Must be able to work well within a team env...
