2nd Shift Machine Operator

Job description

As a Machine Operator, the incumbent should possess the skills, ability, knowledge and willingness to learn any task within the value stream requested by management with limited supervision, oversight or guidance. Second shift (Monday – Thursday) with a 10% shift differential. DUTIES INCLUDE: - Actively participate and abide by Lucas Milhaupt safety program and policies, including active participation in using Zero Communication Platform. - Actively participate and engage in Department and Company Lean activities driving business improvement ideas, quality enhancements, productivity improvements, safety updates or other areas of Lean including 5S, Kaizen events, etc. - Understand how to setup and operate assigned equipment and be able to communicate Important Steps, Key Points, and Why provided by training. - Comprehend and execute assigned processes within the department. - Ability to perform quality checks as needed. - Formulate products according to prescribed “recipes” and follow defined processing steps in an efficient manner. - Package products in prescribed containers and cartons and attach appropriate labels and documentation. - Observe the processing operations, make adjus...
