Job Description: Job Description Summary Under the supervision of the Director of Africana Studies Division, the Temporary Division Coordinator for Africana Studies coordinates projects, events, initiatives and other responsibilities as assigned by the Division Director. The Temporary Division Coordinator provides some administrative support, executes a social media and outreach plan and serves as a resource to students. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Director with communications for all Africana Studies Spring Events and academic offerings, with a primary focus on digital media. Social Media Management: Upload and post content across all relevant social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok). Take photos using the provided camera or mobile phone for event coverage. Digital Media Management: Manage all digital media assets for Africana Studies. Edit and upload video content to YouTube, ensuring high-quality content. Maintain and organize the Berklee photo Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
