Job Description: Berklee College of Music is the world’s preeminent college for the study of music, where students experience all aspects of the music industry through an interdisciplinary curriculum. Berklee’s Cultural Arts Education Administration Internship is an exciting, hands-on opportunity to develop the critical skills necessary to be successful in today’s workforce while learning about the management and operations of a higher education institution in the professional arts. Interns at Berklee will engage in paid, hands-on learning in cultural arts education administration, gaining experience in areas such as operations, marketing, communications, community arts project management, production, research, and fundraising. By working in multiple departments across the institution – including but not limited to the Library, Communications and Marketing, and Education Outreach and Social Entrepreneurship – interns will draw upon their creativity and critical thinking skills and will develop and strengthen skill sets they can parlay into any industry or future experience, including adaptability, accountability, initiative, self-direction, and cross-cultural interaction.
