Description The Department of Pediatrics Division of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, Allergy, and Immunology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and the UVA Children's Hospital, seek candidates for a clinical faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, to join our growing team. The position is ideal for a highly motivated candidate with strong interest in advancing their academic carriers through excellence in clinical practice, teaching, quality improvement, and advocacy. Clinical and translational research opportunities will be available as well. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both pulmonary and sleep medicine, although we anticipate that sleep medicine will be the focus of their clinical effort. Rank, track and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. The Division of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, Allergy, and Immunology currently has five faculty members with a strong support staff including three nurse practitioners, three RN clinical coordinators, a respiratory therapist, pulmonary function technicians, and two administrative assistants.
