KEY ACTIVITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ensures that all employees adhere to work rules and safety policies. Apply all safety regulations that meet OSHA and Mactac safety guidelines. Conducts incident investigations and ensures housekeeping standards are maintained. - Establishes a strong presence on the floor to set and communicate expectations, standards, and evaluate results so all employees understand expectations. - Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with adherence to company policies, work rules, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include overseeing training requirements; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance when applicable; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; leading employee engagement activities and volunteerism; and ensuring timecards are accurate and approved on a timely basis. - Leads/ coaches and provides overall direction to Leads and Operators to safely produce a quality product in the most efficient manner possible. - Supports facility by ensuring all departments are properly staffed with qualified employees, including administration of time off (Vacation/Personal Time) and s...
