Classification Title: Veterinary Technician I/II (CARE) Classification Minimum Requirements: Veterinary Technician I: High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience Veterinary Technician II: Credentialed veterinary technician Job Description: The Small Animal Hospital is seeking a technician who is enthusiastic about providing support to a variety of specialty services with an emphasis or specific interest in small animal reproduction. They assist with exams, directly provide specialty care under the direction of our faculty veterinarians, coordinate the schedule including with other specialty services, and provide clinical instruction and demonstration to veterinary students. They also provide client service and administrative support, which includes, but is not limited to assisting and facilitating client service related matters and maintaining a clean, sanitary, and functionally well-organized service.
