Role Overview Sodexo Energy and Resource is seeking an experienced Construction/Project Manager 2 to work with one of our construction management teams at one of our largest energy accounts in Houston, TX. This position functions as a key member of the Design and Construction management team. This Construction/Project Manager 2 will collaborate with a team of project managers who will oversee capital project teams and stakeholders, ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled throughout the design, construction, and implementation phases. What You'll Do: - Develop project schedules and execute according to plan for assigned projects. - Evaluate the contractual scope of work and the impact of client issued bulletins, field directives and/or scheduling changes. - Actively pursue additional work through change orders. - Perform associated cost estimates, prepare proposals, and negotiate final settlement price and customer acceptance. - Effectively communicate project progress, issues, and financial status to management as required. - Develop and maintain viable long-term relationships with consultants, prime contractors, and subcontractors. - Attend and lead job progress meeting...
