Job description

This position is based at the Integration Center in Las Vegas, within the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) Group. The AME group is responsible for researching and implementing the use of advanced technology in manufacturing operations. They develop efficient systems, processes, and machines that result in high-quality assembled products. They may also take into account how manufacturing processes impact the environment, worker ergonomics, and safety. The internship lasts 8 weeks and will start in early June and end in Mid-August. Candidates will be required to prepare and submit a project report at the end of the 8 weeks . The internship offers a flat per hour stipend capped at 40 h ours per week and does not offer any other benefits or allowances. Candidates will be required to arrange their own housing and transport . What You'll Do: Engage in a 8 -week fulltime onsite project at the Las Vegas Integration Center ( LV IC) .
