Job description

Pay Range: $28.17-$31.30 Essential Functions: - Reads work orders/load sheets or follows oral instructions to ascertain that all product is on the truck and delivered in a safe and timely manner. - Loads and unloads products from delivery truck using hand trucks and pallet jacks on some routes. - Knowledge of all products both current and new. - Always maintain the correct temperature of your truck/trailer. - Observe all driving laws, safe and defensive driving is very important. - Make sure your load is secure before moving. - Learn to operate the Handheld Route accounting computer and printer assigned to each driver - Keep delivery truck clear of clutter and clean up spills. - Report vehicle and safety concerns to appropriate personnel. - Transfer inner office mail and pick up freight when applicable. - Mount tire chains on specified tires as needed (subject to weather conditions) - Confirm load is of legal weight - Other duties as assigned REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: - Commercial Driver’s License, Class A, minimum 18 months driving experience - Current Medical Examination Card - Ability to work flexible schedules including shift work, weekends, and holidays - Ability...
