Application Development Officer, State Street Investment Management

State Street Investment Management (formerly State Street Global Advisors) is seeking an Application Development Officer to join the Global Funds Management (GFM) Engineering team within the Chief Operating Officer (COO) organization. This is a hands-on senior engineering role with accountability for application architecture, engineering delivery, and operational excellence supporting critical Global Funds Management business functions. You will contribute directly to solution design and implementation, working closely with a highly experienced, global engineering team to build and evolve enterprise-scale financial applications. The role involves new software development as well as ongoing enhancement and maintenance of core GFM applications. Candidates should bring strong financial software experience or a demonstrated interest and understanding of financial markets. This role follows a hybrid working model , requiring four days per week onsite at our Krakow or Gdansk offices.
