Junior Manual Quality Engineer

Job description

Essential Job Responsibilities & Duties: - Manual testing of front-end including browser compatibility, ADA, and device compatibility testing - Identify, record, document reproducible steps thoroughly, and track defects to resolution - Communicate test progress, test results, and quality of application changes - Proactively identify new tools/processes/approaches and continuously strive to find ways to improve the overall testing strategy - Ability to design and execute test scenarios for new software features - Perform regression testing before weekly software releases - Perform verification testing of fixed defects - Interact with developers to resolve defects, clarify functionality and resolve usability issues before product release - Submit, track, and assist with escalation of any product issues found during testing to ensure that they are resolved - Utilize all required databases for SQA functions and testing - Weekend on-call schedule Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred - At least 2 years of experience in front-end manual testing - Ability to communicate and collaborate with other team members in a fast paced, deadline-driven enviro...
