Job Description Summary Under the supervision of the School Therapy Manager and clinical practice guidance of the psychiatrist, the school clinical counselor provides assessment, counseling, education, and safety planning for all patients consulted. The counselor works in collaboration with the clinical team and school team to meet the behavioral health needs of the patient. This position identifies treatment needs and risk factors that the patient may experience, and applies interventions and skill building techniques.
