The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Physical Therapy is currently seeking a temporary Teacher Assistant to work in Coral Gables, FL. The Teacher Assistant provides grading support for undergraduate classes; development of rubrics for formative and summative assessments; examination and measured assessment of student work; provide quantitative and qualitative feedback to students; data entry and statistical analysis of results. CORE JOB FUNCTIONS: Helps Teachers with lesson preparation, including collecting materials and setting up equipment. Reviews lessons or lectures with students on a one-on-one basis or in small groups. Supervises students in class, between classes, and during examinations.
