Job Summary The Manager of the Hafter Center serves as the lead program, facility, and operations manager for the Office of University Recreation, overseeing the Hafter Center and Elkins Park recreational offerings. The Hafter Center serves the Salus campus, composed of approximately 11,000 graduate-level students. This position is responsible for growing and maintaining memberships and fitness, wellness, recreational programs to increase participation among the Drexel and surrounding community. The Manager will lead a team of full-time and part-time staff and student employees. Essential Functions: - Facilities & Operations - Oversee daily operations of all UREC facilities, including access control, scheduling, staffing, and user support. - Collaborate with the facilities and operations team to ensure seamless coordination across the Hafter Center and related spaces. - Respond to emergencies and inclement weather situations affecting facility operations. - Staff Leadership & Development - Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and evaluate Group Exercise Instructors and Personal Trainers. - Develop performance criteria and conduct routine assessments to ensure staff meet industry standar...
