JOB DESCRIPTION: SUMMARY OF POSITION Provides support and stabilization services to clients on crisis residential unit. Provides peer and crisis support services, information, education and support for clients. Promotes wellness, recovery and skill building to sustain better health through prevention training for managing stress and problems, making healthy life style choices, recognizing and responding to relapse, managing crisis and achieving, and sustaining recovery. Assists clients with personal recovery goals, helps clients develop natural support systems, and coaches clients to advocate for themselves within their healthcare systems. Implements evidence-informed wellness interventions.
