POSITION SUMMARY: Working within a team environment, the Analyst is responsible for executing tasks assigned by the IS Project Manager/lead. The Analyst executes the tasks assigned to him/her by following established policies and procedures, and with the guidance of the IS Project Manager/Senior Analyst/ Supervisor who assists the Analyst with the scheduling and prioritizing of work and who reviews the work, upon completion, for soundness of judgment and overall quality of work, ie, adequacy and accuracy The Analyst is typically assigned routine to moderately complex assignments of short duration, which are either smaller initiatives within a larger strategic project where the scope is well defined, or are operational assignments, which include tasks having to do with the testing, modification or upgrading of existing applications/systems or with the data analysis and reporting or with the monitoring of projects Assignments typically require the Analyst to function as a Business Systems Analyst in a support role who supports all project activities related to the selection and implementation of information systems and technology.
