Helping People. Changing Lives. Under the general supervision of the SLO HUB Supervisor and/or the Clinical Program Manager & Homeless Services Director, the Peer Support Specialist assists the SLO HUB Case Manager in supporting chronically homeless adults with co occurring mental health and substance use disorders. This role provides peer mentorship and support to help participants identify client centered pathways out of homelessness, engage in treatment, and work toward stable housing and self sufficiency. Through encouragement, guidance, and lived experience support, the Peer Support Specialist promotes recovery, stability, and alignment with CAPSLO’s mission. What you bring to the table: - High school graduation or GED. - Experience in navigating the day-to-day life of accessing homeless services, mental health services, physical health services, and drug and alcohol services. - Lived experience of homelessness, and addiction and is currently in a stable housing setting. - Fluent in two or more languages, including one that supports the needs of the program and community is preferred, but not required. - Must have dependable, insured transportation, a valid California Driver's...
