The Prince Rupert Port Authority (PRPA) is a leading industry organization dedicated to the overall planning, development, marketing, and management of the commercial port facilities within the Port of Prince Rupert. PRPA is seeking a motivated, eager-to-learn student to join the asset maintenance team and contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop professional skills, and enhance career prospects. Summer student employment is for four months, commencing May 4, 2026, and ending August 28, 2026, unless otherwise specified. POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES: - The student will assist the Asset Management department with ongoing projects and initiatives pertaining to: - Field inspections and review - Surveying for assets (i.e. water lines) - Site visits - Quality control JOB SPECIFICATIONS: - The student should have an interest in both asset and project management. - Good working knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, reporting, and document development.
