Facilities Technician

Job description

Reports to: Facilities Manager Scope of work to be performed and/or managed: #1. Maintenance / cleaning of all buildings, properties and grounds that belong to the Hale Centre Theatre, or as otherwise directed: The Facilities Technician (FT) will complete and document, weekly “Walk-Throughs” of both inside and outside the building and complex, to ensure the facility is cleaned properly and no areas are neglected or in need of repair. The FT will implement an action plan for Safety Concerns related to cleanliness/maintenance of the building and it’s various spaces. (Safety Management of HCT processes is listed later in this document) The FT is responsible for any new cleaning processes or contractors related to those processes that need to be implemented for satisfactory cleaning/maintenance. The FT is responsible for all coordination and supervision of contractors retained by The Hale Centre Theatre (HCT), that is related to the scope of work of the FT position. #2 Maintenance/Repairs The FT is responsible for all building related repairs, both inside and outside of all HCT buildings, grounds and properties.
