Job description

Network Administrator Work Location: Queensbury, NY: Reporting to the Manager, SCADA IT, the Network Administrator will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of Brookfield Renewable IT core infrastructure is operational as per business requirements. This includes but is not limited to Network configuration, installation, monitoring, backup, troubleshooting, and after hours on-call support. The incumbent is required to provide support to the National System Control Center, Remote sites and assist management in ensuring that daily activities/assignments are performed in a timely manner. Responsibilities: - Participate in the general management and network duties including: - LAN/WAN installation, implementation, troubleshooting, performance optimization and management in a quickly-evolving network topology - Deploying and troubleshooting Network configurations - Perform monitoring and reporting on network usage as required - Participate in the daily operation of the company’s network and telecom infrastructure - Work with network monitoring tools, Solarwinds, Cisco Prime, Cisco Meraki - Design and perform network and security audits - Network backup and recovery and insure data int...
