Shipping Manager

Job description

The Shipping Manager will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient and safe handling, shipping, and receiving of materials. This role will lead a team of warehouse staff, including forklift operators, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers. The Shipping Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth operations in alignment with company policies and safety regulations. Responsibilities: - Manage and Operate a SAFE, clean, and courteous Fleet - Manage and maintain company assets including Tractors, Trailers, and supporting equipment to ensure maximum utilization and cost efficiency - Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules for all owned, leased, or rented equipment. - Ensure all reporting requirements are accurate and on time - Mentoring and Coaching all reports to be 100% responsible and actively engaged.
