Job description

The Carpenter II is responsible for building and setting forms for footings, walls, and slabs, Frame to finish exterior walls, roofs, and decks. Responsible for framing interior walls, building stairs, installing drywall, crown molding, doorframes, and cabinets. Constructing and repairing building frameworks and structures, such as stairways, doorframes, partitions, and rafters, made from wood, steel, and other raw materials. Installation of all types of flooring, tile, carpet, wood, engineered, etc. Responsible for demolition, estimating costs for flooring, wall construction, rough and finished carpentry work as required. Operating hand tools and woodworking machines. Working independently and exercising good judgment and discretion is essential to this job. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - As essential personnel you are expected to be available in the event of school closings, delays, shutdowns and any emergencies including clean up required because of severe weather incidents.
