Job description

Powertrain Calibration Methodology Engineer is responsible for developing, testing, and validating propulsion system calibration processes which achieve world-class range, fuel economy, and drivability meeting current and future emission standards. The engineer will develop new calibration processes for both virtual and physical testing resources using techniques such as MIL, HIL and Physical properties. This role will include cross functional interaction with different Center of Excellence (CoE) teams and support engineers. Process development will occur with new powertrain technologies such as ICE, xHEV and BEV configurations for both future and carry over applications. The engineer will develop disruptive technology processes that optimize the efficiency, quality, and product delivery for the calibration functions. Job responsibilities include but not limited to: - Support construction of virtual models to simulate system performance - Provide expertise to correlate vehicle, dyno, and virtual datasets - Work with the CoE teams to ensure best practices are developed and followed - Provide guidance for calibrators to assure system performance objectives - Work closely with Virtual...
