Design Engineer

Job description

Job Overview The Design Engineer will be responsible for application assessment, design and documentation of high-quality custom communication systems and products to meet customer specifications. The Design Engineer is expected to quickly develop into a subject-matter expert in all GAI-Tronics products and systems. A Day In The Life: Roles and Responsibilities include: - Perform engineering needed to support sales in proposing custom equipment and systems. - Evaluate customer specifications and determine the appropriate solutions. - Determine feasibility of custom product requirements and equipment integration. - Provide preliminary engineering design to determine form, fit, and function of product. - Provide technical write-up of system solutions and system architectures, based on GAI-Tronics product offerings. - Generate a written bill of material to provide accurate parts lists for custom products to be built. - Provide accurate diagrams of products and systems. - Assist other engineers with problems encountered, reducing project completion time. - Answer customer inquiries (via collaboration applications, email, or telephone) on custom products and systems. - Provide accurate...
