Envision Imaging welcomes you to explore career opportunities with us. |Additional opportunity to cross train into MRI, CT, or Bone Density | Wage bands vary based on modality| |X-Ray Technologist Position Pay Range $25.50 - $33.12 |Ultrasound Technologist Position Pay Range - $39.70 - $51.15 | Summary/Objective: The X-Ray Technologist performs various types of diagnostic X-Ray procedures, adjusts X-Ray equipment settings, determines proper voltage/exposure and positions patient. Performs specific procedures utilizing ionizing radiation. Assists physicians in assigned examination utilizing contrast media and/or specific tomographic examinations. Essential Functions: - Interfaces with patients to ascertain medical history and provides instructions/explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image. - Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. - Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc. - Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation. - Performs exams while attending to patient’s care before, during and fol...
