Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary: We are looking for a full-time PA/NP to join our growing Orthopedic Injury Clinic! The WashU Orthopedic Injury Clinic is specifically designed to provide same day access to high level orthopedic care to our community. We treat patients ages 5+ with acute orthopedic injuries including fractures, strains/sprains, sports injuries and acute back/joint pain. Services include evaluation by an orthopedic specialist with on-site X-ray, splinting and casting. Sites may include Chesterfield, South County, and Sunset Hills. Orthopedic Injury Clinic hours are 12-7 pm, M-F; 8am-12pm on Saturdays. Schedule combines rotating Injury Clinic coverage with independent standard follow up clinics for an opportunity to provide definitive care of non-operative patients. No inpatient or OR commitments! A successful candidate will have orthopedic experience treating a broad range of orthopedic complaints and feel comfortable practicing autonomously in a fast paced environment.
