The Counselor TPT position exists to provide professional counseling consultations, clinically informed input, Christian spiritual guidance, and emotional support to constituents (primarily over the phone) on a wide-range of needs expressed by those contacting the ministry. Emphasis exists on marriage and parenting concerns and biblical integration (representing an evangelical perspective) in this trusted role of representing Focus on the Family. Additionally, as an “aftercare coach” this position provides phone/online coaching services to couples who have attended a Focus on the Family marriage intensive. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required due to the needs of the individuals and families we serve.
