PURPOSE OF POSITION: To provide students with a strong academic program that will prepare them for college-level study; to create a learning environment that will allow students to grow and learn; to set high expectations for success; and to help students develop a positive self-esteem that they will carry the rest of their lives. This position will be for the upcoming SY 2026-2027. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Required Qualifications: - A Master's degree in teaching preferred; Bachelor's degree acceptable with 5 years progressive experience in teaching at the secondary level. - Valid New Mexico teaching licensure with proper endorsement in assigned teaching area(s). - Level II Licensure Required, Level III Licensure Preferred. Required Experience: Minimum of three years of successful experience as classroom teacher in a secondary school.
