About the role: The Lead Technician is responsible for overseeing the service department technician’s “on the job” training, processes, and operations, ensuring high quality maintenance, repair, and servicing of equipment. This role combines hands on technical expertise with leadership, mentoring and training technicians, customer satisfaction, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. What you'll do: Technician Oversight and Development: - Assist technicians in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment. - Assist Vermeer Service Training Department with technicians' training progress, certifications, and advancement through the Vermeer STCP program. - Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot complex service concerns. Training and Development: - Assists in training technicians to enhance technical competency. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment, service bulletins, and industry standards.
