Specific Accountabilities Our Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and longevity of production equipment. This role involves repairing and maintaining various components such as hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and general mechanical systems. The mechanic must adhere to safety and quality standards, perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive maintenance measures to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. Effective communication and collaboration with other team members are essential to ensure the efficient functioning of the facility. - Oils and greases production equipment, as necessary, to keep the equipment functioning optimally. - Troubleshoots and repairs production equipment malfunctions reported to maintenance by line supervisors. - Inspects and maintains all production equipment as necessary and as scheduled. - Operates drills, saws, grinders, welding apparatus, presses and a variety of manual tools to repair and maintain production equipment. - Monitors and maintains building and grounds functions such as plumbing, general electrical wiring, and painting. - Test operates production machinery before...
