Up to a $15,000.00 Sign on Bonus! Position Summary: Provides nursing care on an intermittent or continuous care shift basis to patients in their place of residence under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The LPN is assigned to patients by the Hospice Director and functions under his/her direction. Education, License & Cert: Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing. LPN currently licensed in Pennsylvania. Knowledge of nursing practice at a level normally associated with a Practical Nurse. High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Experience: One (1) year nursing experience in an acute care setting and/or previous Hospice experience or similar work with patients/families experiencing terminal illness is preferred. Experience and skill in supervision is desired. Essential Functions: 1. Provides nursing care in accordance with the standards of the Nurse Practice Act in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 2.
