Job Title: Part-Time Day Porter – Preschool Location: Austin, Texas 78756 Position Type: Part-Time Schedule: Monday – Friday, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM Compensation: $15 Per hour Job Summary: We are seeking a responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team at a preschool. The Day Porter plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for young children and staff throughout the day. Qualifications: - Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of classrooms, bathrooms, hallways, kitchen and common areas - Monitor and restock supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) - Assist with minor maintenance tasks and report major issues to the supervisor - Support staff with immediate cleanup needs (e.g., spills, accidents) - Empty trash and recycling throughout the day - Ensure outdoor play areas are tidy and safe and use of power washer to clean tables 2 to 3x a week - Follow all health and safety protocols, especially those related to childcare environments - Respond promptly to requests from staff regarding cleanliness and safety - Power wash outside area on eating tables (2-3x per week or as needed) - High Traffic areas are to be continuous...
