Overview Job Title: Cook: Salary/Shift: $23/hour: Status: Full Time: Shift: Varies: Located in beautiful Black Hawk, CO, the Monarch Resort Spa seeks a passionate 24/7 Restaurant Cook to join our team! You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that exceeds the expectations of our guests and team. Responsibilities: - Apply various cooking methods to meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods; season and cook according to recipes. - Execute prep lists and checklists promptly, inspect food areas for sanitary practices, and ensure proper food temperatures. - Use excellent memory skills to prepare multiple dishes simultaneously, and accurately distinguish flavors and food quality. - Portion, arrange, and garnish food; regulate cooking equipment temperatures and assist other cooks during busy periods. - Perform all kitchen duties including preparation, cooking, and cleaning, and follow recipes and procedures with minimal direction.
