Catholic Social Services is currently seeking a contract full time, 40 hours per week, Child & Youth Care Worker in EDMONTON to join our LaSalle team. Providing excellent client-centered care, you are confident, thoughtful, and motivated to achieve success when supporting others in your community. This position has a weekly schedule of: Tuesday 9a-5p, Wednesday 9a-5p, Thursday 12p-8p, Friday 12p-8p, Saturday 10a-6p Contract end date: July 31, 2027. Job application closing date: May 19, 2026. Program Overview: LaSalle program is a second-stage shelter for women with children who have experienced family violence. This program provides a safe place to women and children to help break the cycle of violence. During this time clients receive support and counselling as they access childcare, employment, outreach services, educational and training opportunities. Job Summary: As a Child and Youth Care Worker, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of the child/youth and parent/guardian, providing counselling and teaching basic life, community, and family living skills while ensuring basic needs are met (food, clothing, shelter, healthcare, safety).
