Part-Time Custodial Lead Worker

Job description

Overview This position leads the activities of Custodians during preparation for events, during event time, and during cleanup for events. This position requires effective communication and interaction with clients, event supervisors, facility senior management, event staff, and the general public. Responsibilities: - Directs and oversees custodial activities to fit within timelines and resources determined by the Conversion Manager. - Assigns and supervises the daily work of a small group of Custodians during event times and post event cleanup. - Maintains accurate records of labor hours, cleaning materials, and supplies used for each event. - Ensures proper use, care, and storage of custodial tools and equipment. - Ensures OSHA compliance with all cleaning activities. - Recommends improvements to work processes, equipment, and overall operational efficiency. - Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve goals. - Performs activities of workers supervised including buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing windows, and cleaning bathroom facilities. - Report any damages, dis...
