Job Summary: Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the Certified Clinical Audiologist provides comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative services to a diverse population of adults and children with hearing and balance disorders from a variety of referral sources. Approximately 80% of the time is expended in direct patient care, with the residual 20% spent analyzing test data, writing reports, communicating with patients and participating in divisional activities and assignments. Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: Perform full diagnostic hearing evaluation for pediatric and adults by utilizing the following: thorough case history intake; pure tone air and bone conduction, speech sensitivity and speech discrimination; tympanometry , acoustic reflex threshold and decay; otoacoustic emissions as applicable. Interpret results of diagnostic evaluation and make appropriate recommendations for follow-up care to include: further audiological assessment, medical intervention and/or rehabilitative measures.
