Forklift Operator Role Summary The Forklift Operator is responsible for the accurate moving, locating, and storing of materials, utilizing a forklift or other power-operated equipment. Key Results Area: - Safe and efficient operation of all power-operated equipment that requires certification - Safe and efficient movement of the product, including loading and unloading of trucks - Accurately pick and pack items for shipment, potentially with a forklift - Label and prepare items for shipment - Work with inventory control on correct product placement - Complete required paperwork and project time-tracking documentation - Maintain warehouse order to ensure pallet locations are kept available for incoming items - Ensure all items not required in the short term are restocked according to established procedures - Update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) with the transactions completed - Perform daily safety checklist and standard battery changing procedures - Assist with contacting freight couriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries - Aid in cycle counting and periodic inventories - Update supervisor and team lead on issues or concerns - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work ar...
