MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Employer: AMAZON.COM SERVICES LLC: Offered Position: Industrial Designer III Job Location: Austin, Texas Job Number: AMZ9674285 Position Responsibilities: Key partner to work closely with the Product teams and WW Engineering to drive customer (AMZL) requirements for implementing various robotics solutions in AMZL. Lead and coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the last mile network through equipment specification, material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations. Identify process paths to automate based on various factors; labor, cost, safety, performance, etc. Working with Process Engineering and Operations partners. Author business cases to introduce automation to the Delivery Stations network in NA to improve productivity. Define pilot criteria and success metrics to validate prototype units. Collaboration with internal teams to provide technical documentation such as product specifications, integration requirements, etc. Partner with Mechanical, Controls and Software teams to plan the technologies integration in operation.
