The objective of the Student Programs at Nexteer Automotive is to select motivated students with high potential and provide them with real world work experiences. Work assignments expose students to many of the company’s products, processes, procedures, problems, resources, staff areas and people so that they become aware of the career opportunities at Nexteer Automotive. Assignments are designed to assimilate acquired classroom education with actual hands-on work experience in a technical environment. In addition, Nexteer Automotive gains the opportunity to find new talent to enhance productivity. In This Role You Will: Assist in Electrical Power Steering (EPS) system and software development which includes, but is not limited to, the following activities. - Software and calibration update activities to support customer samples, vehicle testing, validation, and production. - Assist in EPS trouble shooting activities using CANalyzer, CANape, CANoe, oscilloscopes, and custom-made software tools like eTool, eCalNet. - Assist in updates to requirements as a part of the development lifecycle. - Assist in the creation of DFMEAs, Design Reviews, and validation plans. - Assist with analys...
