Job Summary This entry level professional will contribute to analyzing production processes and determining rates and efficiency improvements. In addition, this individual will support the creation and maintenance of master data, standard costs, routers, and other manufacturing data. Further, the Industrial Engineer I will support manufacturing improvements. The Industrial Engineer I is the first level within the Industrial Engineer career path. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to strategic improvement projects, in a multi-disciplinary organization, to obtain cost reductions and improved efficiencies, to achieve profitability targets - Identify process gaps through direction from Manufacturing Operations Manager - Estimate production costs for new products, product changes, and development projects - Perform time studies and efficiency analyses on machines and processes - Maintain Baan router and work center product master data and standard cost data - Maintain processes for life-cycle cost management of projects/programs from inception to completion with periodic review to identify causes for variance - Identify products and/or processes where cost reductions might be realized -...
