GENERAL SUMMARY: The Cook I / Utility Worker is responsible for the preparation of all food items based on standardized recipes. In addition, the Cook I/Utility Worker performs a number of kitchen activities including pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies. QUALIFICATIONS: - Responsible for preparing and plating all food items based on standardized recipes to include, but not limited to: boils, braises and roasts as well as fries, steams, grills, and bakes. - Assists in food prep assignments to include daily prep, special functions, banquets, catering, holiday and special events. - Thoroughly cleans kitchen daily. - Sets up the dish and pot washing area, and washes pots, dishes and utensils. - Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes and utensils. - Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and...
