Senior Composites Engineer Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes Materials & Processes (BCA M&P) is seeking a Senior Composites Engineer for the 787 Wing & Empennage Engineering Support team in North Charleston, SC. Position Responsibilities: Define engineering requirements, produce specifications, and approve tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes used in product design, manufacture, and maintenance; ensure contractual and regulatory compliance. Develop, qualify, and certify new tools, materials, parts, processes, and systems (including computer and production systems) to meet program requirements. Manage test programs, audits, and supplier qualifications to applicable standards. Analyze performance and failures of tools, materials, parts, or processes; implement corrective and preventive actions and optimize product/process design. Evaluate emerging technologies (automation, robotics, additive manufacturing) and integrate applicable innovations to support business needs and standardization efforts.
