Employment Type: Part time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift Description: Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Unit: Acute IMC Unit Employment Type: Part-time / 24 hours weekly Shift: Night shift – with weekend and holiday rotation Location: Silver Spring, Maryland We are offering a $6,500 New Hire Retention Bonus to external applicants who meet minimum requirements. Position Purpose: Reporting to the Director, the IMC Registered Nurse must demonstrate the passion to provide bedside care to a diverse and acutely ill population of patients. The Registered Nurse should possess the knowledge and skill of how-to safety apply the nursing process to assess, plan and evaluate the care of patients with various health conditions. Unit Overview: This 30-bed unit provides care for high-acuity patients across a wide spectrum of complex specialties. Comorbidities are diverse and patients often require cardiac telemetry monitoring and/or mechanical ventilator support. - Unit equipped with two negative pressure rooms and patient lift assist equipment in all rooms. - On-site Nurse educator. - Acute/Critical Care course for nurses who are new to the acute, in-patient population.
