Job description

As an Executive Director in the SEAMAC team, the successful candidate would play a central role in advising clients with respect to activist defense preparedness and live activist campaign defense for corporates across industries. They would work with expert professionals at the heart of a leading global investment bank and would get exposure to formal training, hands-on learning opportunities, continuous mentoring and feedback, and numerous development opportunities. They would develop strong skills in the major areas of investment banking and be given the opportunity to develop into a senior officer who is capable of generating and executing his/her own activist defense mandates. Job responsibilities: - Develop proprietary knowledge and insights into activist defense and the transactions resulting from shareholder activism - Understand in detail specific activists and their campaigns globally - Act as a primary day-to-day client point of contact and lead the process in preparing to pitch activist defense, spearhead activist defense preparation mandates, including white paper and rebuttal analysis, and drive the defense streams in live campaigns, including analysis of activist dem...
