Arkema’s Beaumont Plant is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to provide advanced technical expertise to support operations, drive continuous improvement, and enhance the performance of multiple chemical production units. This role plays a key part in optimizing safety, quality, reliability, and throughput within the Thiochemicals business unit. As a senior technical resource on-site, you’ll collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, HSE, and Project Engineering to ensure stable, efficient, and compliant plant performance. This role requires strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and leadership in process optimization and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary on-site process engineering expert for assigned units, including Methyl Mercaptan, Ethyl Mercaptan, Dimethyl Sulfide, Hydrogen Sulfide, Acrolein, and MMP. - Monitor production data, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions to improve throughput, efficiency, and reliability. - Maintain and update critical process documentation and operating standards. - Support major initiatives including new product introduction, technology improvements, debottlenecking, and energy o...
