ABOUT DAN’S PRIZE - Inspired People. Inspired Food. ™ Dan's Prize Inc., processes and packages meat product at two production facilities located in Browerville and Long Prairie MN. We have over 600 different meat products; we work with beef, pork, chicken, and turkey. Dan's Prize started in 1986 with 12 employees, and our continued growth has brought us to where we are today with over 530 people. POSITION SUMMARY: Dan’s Prize (a subsidiary of Hormel Corporation) is looking for a Sanitation General Worke r at our facility in Browerville. Pay for the position starts at $21.95 per hour + Shift Differential 0.75¢. RESPONSIBILITIES : REQUIREMENTS : - Abiding with all Dan’s Prize plant safety rules - Wearing all required PPE - Being trained in the use of many different chemicals - Using a hose to clean mechanical equipment - Working overnight shifts - Completing all necessary paperwork correctly and in a timely manner - Operating an electric Pallet Jack (in-house training provided) - Relieving other Dan’s Prize plant positions as necessary (additional pay provided if relieving a higher pay grade position) - Following good manufacturing practices (GMP's) - Perform all duties (washroom...
